Love Live Life

    Some things and people just can't be explained.  You know the type that come around at the right time in your life and fill it with more meaning.  I can say that so far I've been quite blessed.  I have the best friends anyone could ever ask for and I wouldn't trade them for the world.  My love, my heart my everything makes all my heartache take a trunk seat, lol.  He has been my rock for years and I'm so glad that I came to my senses.  No more running away from what I know, I'm facing my fears dead on.

LOVE... is a fear for me.

    I have had bad experiences with this word and emotion.  I would like to think that I am the most faithful person you will ever meet when it comes to friends and such.  I will cut you off in a heart beat if you {mess} with me and mines...but that's for another entry.  I always end up with the short end of the stick and that's where this fear comes in.  When I love, I love hard... and when there isn't any positive feedback from the other, I feel stupid and theres that fear again. 

    2011 is going to be about facing all those fears.  Loving everyone... YES EVERYONE!!! Those that hurt me, those that hate me, those that think I don't know they hate me (yea i see y'all) ... Its on... I Love You...

    They say that hurt people hurt people and I'm not willing to sacrifice my family (bc my friends are also family) because someone else is unhappy.  That's what it all balls down to, hurt people.  Let it go, not just in 2011 but in your life.  Let it go!! Go hug someone, tell someone that you love them.  I know black don't crack but if you want wrinkles early on... stress!

    I have a MUA career to look forward to and there is no way I'm getting early wrinkles bc of someones unhappy state.  I will not allow you to take my joy and have power over my life.

    So here I am... a different person, growing everyday in a different way.  I love you all and you should all love yourselves.  Love ends and begins inside of you. Look in the mirror and forgive yourself.  Cry if you have to.  Then let go of all the fear in your life and LOVE like you never thought you could.

Hair today...gone tomorrow

    I thought I would show you my new hair.  Since its winter, I find it much harder to have my natural hair out without breakage or going out the house with a wet head.  That had to stop, I have been sick twice and winter is just beginning for us.  So Friday my friend did my hair.  She is a professional hairstylist and makeup artist so you KNOW we had lots to talk about.  She gave me some makeup advice and tips for the future.  I am so thankful for that conversation.  These last couple of months I have been getting some great tips and hopefully 2011 will be my year. 

   Hope you all are enjoying your weekends, now im off to finish editing vids and watch football...

Xmas

So today is Christmas... or to me just another day I get to chill out with the fam. There wasn't much to my day besides some cleaning that should be taking place as we speak but I'm having way too much fun with this Blog. I went and got me hair done last night. My friend did it and man did she do a killer job... im really happy with it.

So in our conversation she told me to get rid of my fear to work with other people and do makeup on there faces. How true she is bc thats one of my biggest stumbling blocks. So we have to set a date to go out and do each others makeup. Im thrilled but nervous as well. I'll be fine im sure. She has grown quite a lot and im very proud of her. Im very happy for her and I hope that she continues to do well. Of course I'll do my best to support her and encourage her.

Well I guess I should get back to cleaning so toodle lew ...

Drugz and Thangz

I really should be doing better about my posting.  Enough of that though because it just seems as though thats the way that I start all of my posts.  Im home from my meeting and I missed my sis @curlynixs ... sigh...

Last night my son decided to start coughing in my face and later on proceed to come in my room and get up underneath me.  OH NO!!! Now I have a sore throat and I just took some medicine.  So as I write to you, please remember that I am so drugged up.  I dont think the tea that I just had made any of this any better. LOL

I still have yet to post about our crazy night in NY.  I have to post that and maybe it will help you all to have a good laugh, or cry.  I also have some CD reviews to complete.  As soon as they are complete they will be uploaded.

Its A Small World

So this post is just a preview of tonights fun. I can only imagine the fun that will come about from huge drinks and 18 women in the cold of NY. All in all tonight has been awesome and just a reminder of the people and things that are of importance in life. Bumping into people that you hardly know and those that probably knew me as an infant. Good times. Its about 7:30 now so hopefully everything will turn out fine....
