Balancing Act ...

Although I’m all about makeup I also enjoy all things fashion. Celebrity Fashion Stylist June Ambrose has a style all her own and I am always amazed at how she turns her clothing into a work of art. Always stylish, June still finds time to be a mother to her two beautiful children. I’ve recently tried to find that perfect balance between mommy and makeup artist. (communication is key)

I especially love the relationship between June and Summer. I would love to one day have a daughter and go shopping with her and take her to shoots. How cute would it be to have a little fashionista and I already have my little Prince Charming. Well heres to June, Summer, and Chance…

I Beat That Face With A Brush

    So as I stated before, I have been gone for quite a while.  I have been handling some business and personal matters but I feel that I am now getting back into the swing of things and am more equipped to handle anything thrown my way.  I got so great advice from my sister (owner and founder of Cups Full of Cake) and some other close friends.

On to what you want to hear about... the photoshoots...

    This year has already been major for me.  I've been able to work on faces of other people and through referrals gain more clientele.  Here are the photos of all the work that I have done so far.

    There are some more, but you get the idea.  I am in the process of organizing a photo shoot for myself and then for some models so that I can build my portfolio, not of cell phone pix but of professional pictures.  Of course I will keep you all posted and if you dont see me posting on my blog, feel free to remind me, lol.  There is also my youtube channel KLASIKMIMI.

Where Is Waldo?

Hello Loves:


    How long has it been since my last blog post? WOW! I'm so sorry about the wait.  I was having quite a hard time dealing with a few changes in my life and now that I have a new found strength I am able to deal with that issue and so much more.


    In life there will be people that support you and then there will be people who make sure to support anything negative in your life.  People that dont see the bigger picture, people that are so set in there ways that they feel the need to push there own beliefs and customs on you.  DO NOT let those people take control of your life.  While I still understand the importance of "following the rules".  I also understand the importance of individuality and we all have different wants and needs.  I see no wrong in pursuing my dream, as long as I dont lose sight of reality. 


    In life there will also be people that mean well and although they do not agree with your decision they will support you 100%.  Treasure these people but be ready to take some things they tell you or advise you with a grain of salt.  While meaning well, the words they choose may very well discourage you. (2/15/11)

    (2/23/11) I'm finishing this post, as I have found a new found inspiration.  Dreams do come true.  While I am not sure how this will all work out, I am willing to take that leap of faith.  I cant go into this blinded but I also cant NOT go into this because someone blindfolds me, if that makes sense.

1am...have u seen my sanity

Its 1:14am and im laying in my bed with tears rolling down my face. In life we all make decisions and honestly don't know how some of them will work out but we hope for the best. I hate that I feel this way but did I make the right choice? I guess its times like this that force you to figure out why you made whatever decision in the first place.

My ipod just switched to John Legend- This Time... water works for real right now.

I hate feeling unsure...I hate the pain that comes with...I always feel like I get the bad end of the deal...no matter how grand it may seem... ha... right... its give and take and sometimes I need to take a step back and see where the give and take comes from....

Unfortunately I can't see my screen anymore...I'll update later.
